Mr Snappy’s

Mr. Snappy’s was the brainchild of Simon Parchment who originally had the idea of a custom hat store after years of working in the various boutiques and working freelance as a custom fashion designer, which he did for over 15 years. The concept of Mr. Snappy’s was founded after Simon realised that there wasn’t any brick and mortar stores in the UK that specialised in custom caps on the go. He realised that majority of people wanted to see, feel and touch the cap quality before they brought it. As most personalisation cap companies were either online or operating from industrial estates with a minimum order of 20 plus caps, which was too much for customers that wanted one or a few caps personalized. Simon didn’t want Mr Snappy’s to be put in the box of a promotional company but wanted to be more fashion orientated  with the latest styles and trends which provided styles and methods that were only provided by established companies such New Era and the likes. The services such as 3D embroidery, snapback adjustment, brim printing are just some of the methods Simon wanted to give his customers so that their finished custom would have a professional look and stand out from the crowd.

History

Simon has had previous experience with customising caps, In 2004 he worked with American baseball manufacturer New Era caps for two years customizing their iconic 5950 style fitted caps. Simon was invited by New Era caps to attend their high profile music event ‘The Urban Music Festival’ to customize the caps for all performing artist such as A-list celebrity Will Smith and US hip hop artist Xzibit, and other known international acts. It was this event which fuelled his passion as custom designer and helped paved the way for his new journey into the custom fashion scene.

After establishing a good career as an in-store garment customizer working in various boutiques on the prestigious Kings Road in Chelsea, New Bond Street, and also designing freelance for EMI records he decided in 2013 that he was going to just focus on headwear and in particular the ‘Snapback’ cap and pursue his desire to open a one stop shop for custom caps, which hasn’t been done before.

The business name ‘ Mr Snappy’s’ came from the word snapback as ‘snappy’ was used as a slang word for that particular style of cap. The word ‘Mr’ was added to represent Simon as the customizer and this was how Mr Snappy’s was born.

Moving forward

The aim for Mr Snappy’s is to create a store that focuses only on custom headwear but also bringing unique services such as on the spot embroidery for names and slogans, 3D embroidery, brim printing, snapback to strapback and also manufacturing services for brands and individuals.

With over 100 blank snapbacks, 5 panel caps, bucket hats, fitted caps and beanies to choose from makes Mr Snappy’s the number one place to get your cap or hat customized.

One of the most unique thing about the store is seeing your cap being embroidered in front of you so you can see how your cap is going to look while it is being done which is amazing if you have never seen it done.

New services such as 3D embroidery ‘while you wait’ from our selected fonts list is a unique service only available at Mr Snappy’s.

These services makes Mr Snappy’s the number one place for all custom baseball caps. The company has since moved onto other types of cap and hats such as beanies, bucket hats and fitted.
